Centum Knight Patch 0.1.2


Welcome to the devlog teaser for Centum Knight Version 0.1.2:

*One Quarter NPC Edition*

We now have a NEW set of Centum Knight updates to look out for:

The shopkeepers and Weapons are now being implemented!

The first image shows the art references, drawn by other artists on request, and they'll be adapted into the final game, like the frog wizard shown here.

(fig 2 is a silly goof.)

The rest of the images shows the bomb and frog wizard NPC in the game editor.

^*^Prepare to have all four weapons, and all seven NPCs implemented into the game in the future.

INFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: How does the bomb work?

Press C, or L, and the bomb is dropped on the floor, like any good Zelda bomb.

After the bomb is dropped, it'll stay there for a few seconds, ticking down, until it explodes, dealing ONE-SHOT damage to all foes that touch the explosion cube.

The bomb explodes after 1 second, or after it flashes five times.  (that's 0.2 seconds per flash)


Q:  Why am I not releasing absolutely EVERYTHING all at once?

It's taken some time to code up this bomb weapon, and NPC.  Giving myself a bit of time before giving you the updated game allows me to spend time implementing everything, and polishing it up.

P.S. Devlogs will also be released in chunks, with one for each shopkeeper, and bug fixes/polishing.


Q:  25 Coins isn't a lot.  Why is the price so low?

Well...... in order to get 1 coin, you have to get a random number in an array of 2.  Specifically, you have to get a random number in between or exactly 1 to 2... when you can get ANY integer from 0 to 2.

It's approximately a 40% chance to get a coin.   It's a bit annoying to hit.

so, PATCH SOLUTION:    to get a coin, you must hit a random number in between 0.5 to 2
